Gorse & Quill does not collect, store, or share your personal data. This website has no tracking, no cookies, and no analytics. The Gorse & Quill app stores your voice recordings locally on your device only — we never see them, touch them, or transmit them anywhere.

This site does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or any form of tracking. We do not collect your IP address, location, browsing behaviour, or any other personal information when you visit.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log basic request data (such as IP addresses) for security and infrastructure purposes in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not have access to this data.

The Gorse & Quill app

The app exists for one purpose: to let you record a voice note tied to a specific page in your Ledger. Here is exactly what it does and does not do:

• Voice recordings are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to a server, never transmitted over the internet, and never accessible to us.
• No account is required. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information.
• No analytics or tracking of any kind. We do not know how often you use the app, which pages you scan, or anything else about your usage.
• No third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, or data collection are included in the app.

Your recordings are yours entirely. If you delete the app or lose your device, the recordings are gone — we have no copy and cannot recover them. Back up your device regularly.

Changes to this policy

If our approach to data ever changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date. We do not anticipate significant changes — this policy reflects the fundamental design of Gorse & Quill: your songs belong to you.
